Amperage & Hooks

Rectangular Baskets are standard with 50 AMPS/Bskt Double Contact Hooks. Higher amperage is available (i.e. 100 AMPS, 150 AMPS & 200+ AMPS). To determine the AMPS needed per basket, use the following formula:

AMPS needed per basket =Total AMPS of Tank / Total # of Baskets

Features

Square hook TIG welded to topband for maximum strength and single point contact.
Heavy-duty topband 0.040" x 1.5" wide for superior hook support.
Mesh formed and continuously spot welded to horizontal and vertical reinforcing bands
Vertical band support 0.030" x 3/4" wide mounted 90 degrees from hook to eliminate shading.
Reinforced bands on 12" centerline 0.040" x 3/4" wide.
Solid bottom welded to bottom band ensuring maximum strength and proper drainage.
Double Contact Hooks spot welded and TIG welded to top band for maximum strength.
Hooks extend 2" into basket, and are spot welded to the side channel.
Heavy reinforcing top band 0.060" x 1" wide.
Mesh is spot-welded for complete weld connections to bands and side channels.
Reinforcing bands on 12" centerline 0.040" x 3/4" wide.
Solid side channels construction for strength and durability.
Channel bottoms spot welded to bottom band and side channels for superior strength and proper drainage.

Sizing

Considerations for Basket Sizing
The following rules of thumb are recommended for sizing baskets:

Baskets should be 2" to 4" shorter than the longest piece of work.
Baskets should be 1" above the solution level.
Hook length is measured from the top of anode bar to 1" above the solution level.
Quantities for rectangular baskets should be three(3) 2 1/2" x 6" baskets for every 2 feet above the bar.
